Due to the widespread flooding from Hurricane Sandy, many buildings in New York City sustained damage to infrastructure. The 201 Pearl Street - 2 Gold Street project included the relocation of electrical services from the cellar to a level above the flood line. Five Star was responsible for the relocation and installation of a new incoming electrical service and switchgear. In addition, Five Star installed a new generator, ATS and an emergency distribution system.
