The Gansevoort Hotel is 19 stories with 225 rooms. Manhattan's first luxury, full-service resort, the hotel features a 10,000-square-foot glass-fronted restaurant at street level and 1,800 square feet of retail on the first and mezzanine level. In addition, the building features a rooftop pool, a three-story atrium lobby showcasing striking herringbone granite floors, and a bi-level rooftop bar and lounge. Five Star Electric was responsible for the installation of a new incoming service, distribution, lighting power panels, and a new emergency power system including a generator and ATS switches. Five Star was also accountable for the installation of audio-visual, telecommunications, security, control work, lighting and lighting control, and power.
