Project Description

10 Hudson Yards was the first building to open in the Hudson Yards mega project. It is 52 stories, stands 895 feet tall, and has 1.7 million square feet of commercial office space. It has direct access to the High Line and retail connection. The LEED Gold certified building has storm proof systems, co-generation, thermal micro-grid, efficient air flow systems and advanced lighting controls, and is equipped with under-floor or overhead air distribution, central chilled water plant, and water harvesting.

Five Star was responsible for all electrical core and shell work pertaining to income service, as well as building infrastructure work for the base building, branch lighting power, fire alarm, emergency generator installation and wiring. The company also completed co-generation electrical installation for the base building, FDNY ARCS radio system, BMS control wiring, and complete electrical installation of the Lutron lighting and control system for the base building.
