New Project Announcement - Midtown Bus Terminal Redevelopment Program GMP01

Five Star Electric, as a Subcontractor to Tutor Perini, has been awarded the GMP01 portion of the Staging and Storage Facility and Ramp Structure Components of the Midtown Bus Terminal Redevelopment Program.

This project, led by the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, will include modifications to the existing entrance ramps leading to the Port Authority Bus Terminal (PABT), construction of a new 500,000 SF Ramp Helix Structure, and a new 900,000 square foot Staging and Storage Facility (SSF). The SSF will serve as a temporary bus terminal to facilitate the demolition of the existing PABT and the construction of a new terminal.

Five Star Electric’s scope includes but is not limited to temporary light, power and signals, power distribution, duct bank, grounding, lightning protection, communications, security, lighting, lighting control, fire alarm, snow melting and intelligent traffic systems (ITS).
