New Project Announcement - HVR-210 - Hillview Reservoir

Subject to a formal agency award, Five Star Electric Corp. as the electrical subcontractor to Skanska ECCO III HVR JV, has been retained to furnish and install all electrical & systems work on the sizable HVR-210 project for the New York City Dept. of Environmental Protection located in Yonkers, New York.

The Hillview Reservoir spans 90 acres and serves as a vital storage and treatment facility for drinking water, benefiting both New York City and Yonkers. The primary goal of this project is to modernize and upgrade the reservoir's infrastructure to meet new regulatory standards, while prioritizing the safety of nearby residential communities.

Planned enhancements include:

• Improvements to flow control
• Expanded chemical storage capacity
• Establishment of new chemical addition facilities and monitoring systems (CAF-North and CAF-South)
• Implementation of a cutting-edge SCADA system
• Upgrades to electrical infrastructure
• Deployment of innovative flow measurement systems
• Renovation of the existing North Entrance
